Noise Reduction Solution for a New Klemm Aircraft
A customer approached us with a specific problem: the noise measurement of his newly developed Klemm aircraft exceeded the permitted limit by 4 dB – a serious obstacle for certification. After an in-depth exchange with his team of technicians and aircraft mechanics, we were asked to provide technical support.
Our contribution included development concepts, initial design sketches, and
detailed technical drawings for an optimized muffler system.
Together, we analyzed the situation and developed targeted measures to reduce noise emissions. In a short time, we moved from CAD modeling to precise coordination of components and delivered a practical solution to the customer.
The result speaks for itself – and for its sound: the revised system successfully passed the noise test, marking another step toward aircraft certification. We are proud to have been part of this successful development process.

In close coordination with technicians and aircraft mechanics, the causes of the noise measurement were analyzed and technical requirements were defined. Based on this, we developed a suitable muffler solution that successfully met the required limits.
